These terms and policies apply to liquiditydashboard.net (the “Site”), including the dashboard, your account and the Pro subscription. The Site is run by Liquidity Dashboard (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site you agree to them, and you’re asked to accept them when you create an account. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

The short version

  • Information only. The Site shows economic and market data for general information. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
  • Data can be wrong. It comes from third parties and our own calculations, and may be delayed, incomplete, revised or inaccurate. Some series are copied by hand from published reports. Check anything important with the original source.
  • Your decisions are yours. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses from relying on the Site or its data.
  • Pro costs US$20 a month (US$5 for students with a verified university email), renews monthly and can be cancelled any time in Billing. UK and EU consumers can get a full refund of their first payment within 14 days.
  • Free trial: if you’ve never had Pro, you can try it free for 10 days (20 days with a verified student email). You add a card when you start, and it’s charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. We email you a reminder about 3 days before. One trial per person, account and card.
  • Privacy: we only collect what we need to run your account and the Site. No ads, no cookies and no third-party analytics. We count page views and sign-ups ourselves, without storing anything on your device, and we never sell your data.
  • Getting-started emails: new accounts get up to 3 short emails in their first week. You can opt out when you sign up, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Macro Research and the weekly note: the first two paragraphs of every post are free to read; the rest is for Pro. Pro members get the weekly liquidity note by email and an email when Global Liquidity’s momentum turns. New free accounts get the first two paragraphs of the weekly note by email unless they tick the box at sign-up, and any account can change this in Settings. Every email has an unsubscribe link. It’s general commentary, not personal advice.

Not financial advice & data accuracy

Important: nothing on this Site is financial advice. Do not make investment or financial decisions based only on it.

Information only

The Site provides charts, data and calculations about the economy and financial markets for general information and education. It does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Nothing on the Site is financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, a personal recommendation, or an offer or invitation to buy or sell any security, currency, commodity, crypto-asset or other investment.

We are not a regulated adviser

Liquidity Dashboard is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or any other financial regulator, and does not provide regulated investment advice. Before making a financial decision, consider getting advice from an adviser authorised by the FCA. You can check a firm on the Financial Services Register.

The data may be delayed, incomplete or wrong

Data on the Site comes from third-party sources (see Data sources) and from our own calculations. It can be delayed, incomplete, revised by the source after publication, affected by outages or errors at the source or on our side, or simply wrong. In particular:

  • Some series, such as CrossBorder Capital’s Global Liquidity indexes and Vortexa’s Middle East oil exports, are transcribed by hand from published reports or read from chart images. They are approximate and are only updated when we update them.
  • Derived figures such as our Global Liquidity estimate, Fed Net Liquidity, spreads, ratios, year-on-year changes and the Liquidity Impulse are our own calculations. They are only as good as the data underneath them. The Global Liquidity estimate is a statistical model built from public data: it is not CrossBorder Capital’s index and can differ from it.
  • “Live” means we refresh from the source regularly. It does not mean real-time, and market prices may be delayed.
  • The ISM Manufacturing PMI’s history up to July 2026 is taken from ISM’s published press releases. Later months are read from ISM’s website automatically after each release, so a new month can take a few hours to appear.
  • Where a source isn’t available we sometimes show a proxy. Proxies are labelled on the tile.
  • Alerts and webhooks depend on the same data and on third-party services. They may fire late, early, more than once or not at all.
  • The positioning assistant is a simple rule on our Global Liquidity estimate (its 6-month change), shown with the past 6-month moves of a fixed list of assets. Its note is written by an AI model (Cloudflare Workers AI) from those numbers and checked against them automatically, but it can still be wrong. It is general information about one indicator, not a recommendation to buy or sell anything and not suited to your circumstances.

Past performance, and historical relationships such as those between liquidity and asset prices, are not a reliable guide to the future. Investing involves risk, including the loss of the money you invest.

Your responsibility

You use the Site and its data at your own risk. You’re responsible for checking information before relying on it, and for any decisions you make and their results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage that arises from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its data. This includes trading or investment losses, lost profits and missed opportunities, and losses caused by any error, omission, delay or interruption, or by an alert or webhook. This section is subject to What we can’t exclude.

Terms of Use

1. Who can use the Site

You must be 18 or over to create an account or subscribe to Pro. If you use the Site on behalf of a business, you confirm you’re allowed to accept these terms for it.

2. Your account

Give us a real email address that you can access, and keep your password secret. You’re responsible for everything done through your account. Accounts are personal, so please don’t share your login or your Pro access with anyone else. If you think someone else has used your account, tell us straight away at contact@liquiditydashboard.net.

3. The service

We provide the Site “as is” and “as available”. We take reasonable care to keep it working and the data accurate, but we don’t promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We also don’t promise that any particular chart, data source or feature will keep being offered. We may change, add or remove features, charts or data sources, for example when a source stops publishing or withdraws permission. If we remove something that is a main part of Pro, we’ll tell subscribers, and you can cancel.

4. Content and intellectual property

The Site’s design, code and original text belong to us. Third-party data, names and trademarks belong to their owners (see Data sources). You may view the Site and download charts and data exports for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not resell, republish or redistribute the data in bulk, or use it to build a competing product, without our permission and the permission of the original source. When you share a chart, please credit the original source shown on the tile.

5. Suspension and closing accounts

You can stop using the Site at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we reasonably believe puts the Site or other people at risk. Where we can, we’ll tell you first. If we close a paid account for a reason other than your breach of these terms, we’ll refund the unused part of your current billing period.

6. Our responsibility to you

We supply the Site for personal, private use. If you use it for business purposes, we have no liability to you for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

We’re not responsible for losses that weren’t reasonably foreseeable, or that were caused by your own actions or decisions, including investment and trading decisions. We’re also not responsible for events outside our reasonable control, such as a data source failing, or internet, hosting or payment-provider outages.

Where the law allows us to limit it, our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Site is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim arose, or £50 if that is more.

What we can’t exclude. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights, for example under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

7. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you’re a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.

8. General

If a court decides that part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to someone who takes over the Site, and we’ll tell you if that happens. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy below, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Site.

Pro subscription, cancelling & refunds

Price and renewal

Pro costs US$20 per month. Checkout may show the price in your local currency, and any sales tax or VAT is worked out and shown before you pay. Your subscription starts when you pay (or, with a free trial, when the trial ends) and renews automatically every month on the same date until you cancel. Each month is charged at the start of the period.

Free trial: 10 days, or 20 for students

If your account has never had a Pro subscription, you can try Pro free for 10 days. If you’ve verified a student email first (see Student price), the trial is 20 days. To start the trial you tick a box to agree to these trial terms and add a payment card at Stripe Checkout. Nothing is charged during the trial.

  • When the trial ends, you’re charged automatically. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your Pro subscription starts on the day it ends and your card is charged the Pro price (US$20 per month, or US$5 if you have a verified student price), then again every month on that date until you cancel. The end date is shown before you start and on the Checkout page.
  • Reminder. About 3 days before the trial ends, we email the address on your account with the date and the amount you’ll be charged, and how to cancel.
  • Cancelling during the trial. Cancel any time in Settings → Billing & subscription. You keep Pro until the trial ends and you won’t be charged anything.
  • One trial each. You can have one free trial per person, per account and per payment card. If the card you add has already been used for a free trial on another account, we cancel the new trial straight away. You aren’t charged, and you can still subscribe without a trial. Opening extra accounts to get more trials breaks these terms.
  • If the first payment fails. If your card can’t be charged when the trial ends, Pro is paused until the payment goes through. Stripe will try again over the following days, and you can update your card in Billing.
  • Changes to the offer. We may change or end the free trial for new sign-ups. That doesn’t affect a trial you’ve already started.

Student price

If you confirm a university email address, Pro costs US$5 per month instead, and a free trial lasts 20 days instead of 10 (one trial per person, as above). The address must be on an academic domain: one with “.ac.” in it (such as ox.ac.uk, Oxford’s) or ending in “.edu”. You confirm it by entering a 6-digit code we email to it. Each university address can be used by one account at a time, and sharing or misusing the student price breaks these terms.

A verification lasts 12 months. About 30 days before it ends we’ll email the address on your account. If you re-verify, the student price continues for another 12 months. If you don’t, your subscription goes back to the standard price (currently US$20 per month) from your first renewal after the verification ends. That email is your notice of the change, and you can cancel before it takes effect. If you verify while already paying the standard price, your subscription moves to the student price from your next bill, with no refund for the current month.

Who takes your payment

Payments are handled by Stripe. Pro is sold through Link, Stripe’s merchant-of-record service, which takes your payment, handles sales tax and VAT, sends your receipts, and deals with payment questions and disputes. Stripe’s and Link’s own terms and privacy policies also apply to the payment. We never see or store your full card number.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time in Settings → Billing & subscription on the dashboard, or by emailing us. When you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve already paid for and you won’t be charged again. You can undo a cancellation before the period ends. Apart from the 14-day right below, we don’t refund part-used months unless the law requires it.

Your 14-day right to cancel

If you’re a consumer in the UK or the EU, you can cancel your first Pro subscription within 14 days of your first payment and get a full refund of that first payment. If you started with a free trial, the 14 days run from the first payment after the trial ends. Just email contact@liquiditydashboard.net from the email address on your account. This right doesn’t apply to later monthly renewals, but you can still cancel those at any time as described above.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will try again over the following days and your Pro access continues while it does. If the first payment after a free trial fails, Pro is paused until it goes through (see above). If payment still can’t be taken, the subscription ends and your account returns to the free plan.

Price changes

We’ll email Pro subscribers at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect, so you can cancel first if you want to.

Complimentary access

Pro access we give for free (for example to testers) can be changed or ended at any time.

Acceptable use

When you use the Site, please don’t:

  • break the law or anyone else’s rights;
  • try to get into other people’s accounts, or into parts of our systems you don’t have access to;
  • scrape or bulk-download data, run automated tools against the Site or its API beyond normal use of the dashboard, or try to get around the Pro paywall or our rate limits;
  • share your login or Pro access, or resell access to the Site;
  • interfere with or overload the Site, or upload anything malicious;
  • use webhooks to send spam, or point them at addresses you don’t control or aren’t allowed to use.

We may limit, block or suspend traffic or accounts that break these rules.

Privacy Policy

This explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

Who is responsible for your data

Liquidity Dashboard is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us about anything privacy-related at contact@liquiditydashboard.net.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address, and your password stored only as a salted, one-way hash, so we can’t see it. We also store when you created your account, your plan (free or Pro), and which version of these terms you accepted and when.
  • Sign-in sessions: a random session token with its start and expiry time. Sessions last up to 30 days, or until you log out.
  • Subscription details: from Stripe, we store your Stripe customer ID, your subscription status, and your renewal and cancellation dates. The Billing panel shows your card type, its last four digits and expiry date, and your invoices. These are fetched from Stripe when you open the panel, and we don’t store them. Stripe and Link collect your payment details, name and billing address directly.
  • Cancellation feedback: if you give a reason when you cancel, we pass it to Stripe with the cancellation.
  • Free trial: when you agreed to the trial terms, when your trial started and ends, and whether we’ve sent your reminder. To stop the same card getting more than one free trial, we also keep a one-way hash of the “fingerprint” Stripe gives your card (a code that identifies a card number without revealing it), or of your Link email if you pay with Link. We never see or store the card number itself.
  • Macro Research: when you last opened the notification bell or the research page, so we can show which posts are new to you.
  • Weekly note and momentum alerts: whether and when you agreed to the weekly note, whether you turned it or momentum alerts off, and which notes and alerts we’ve emailed you (with the delivery result).
  • Student price: if you verify as a student, the university email address you confirm, when you verified it and when it runs out, and whether we’ve sent your reminder. While a code is pending we keep a one-way hash of it (never the code itself), its expiry and how many codes and tries you’ve used.
  • Custom charts and alerts (Pro): your saved charts, alert rules and their last trigger values, and your webhook address, its signing secret and the result of the last delivery.
  • Usage events: when a page of the Site loads, or you click one of its sign-up, trial or pricing buttons, we record the event (for example “landing page viewed” or which button was clicked), the page, the name of the site that sent you (not the full address), any campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), your country (from Cloudflare, not your IP address) and whether you’re on a phone, tablet or computer, with a random ID made for that page view. Nothing is stored on your device for this, and visits from bots and automated browsers are ignored. When you create an account, open Stripe Checkout, start a free trial, or your trial converts or is cancelled, we record that event with your account ID. We use these only to see how many visitors become customers and which links bring them.
  • Getting-started emails: whether you opted out of them, which ones we’ve sent and when the next is due, and whether you unsubscribed.
  • Technical data: when you visit, our hosting provider Cloudflare processes your IP address, your browser and device details, and the pages and data you request. This is used to deliver the Site, apply rate limits, block abuse and fix errors. Our request logs are kept for up to 7 days.
  • Messages: if you email us, we keep the conversation so we can deal with your request.

We don’t use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we don’t ask for sensitive information.

Getting-started emails

When you create an account, we send up to 3 short emails in your first week: a welcome when you sign up, one about what Pro adds 2 days later, and one about the free trial 6 days after you sign up. We skip the ones about Pro once you have it, and the trial one if your account can’t start a trial. You can tick a box when you sign up not to get them (the same box turns off the weekly note below), and every email has a one-click unsubscribe link (or write to contact@liquiditydashboard.net). They come from hello@liquiditydashboard.net. Accounts created before 22 October 2026 don’t get them.

Macro Research and the weekly note

We publish Macro Research posts on the Site, including a weekly note on what our Global Liquidity Index did that week. The first two paragraphs of every post are free for anyone to read; the rest is for Pro members. When you’re signed in, a bell in the dashboard shows a red dot when there’s a post you haven’t seen.

The weekly note is drafted automatically from the index’s public inputs and market prices, then read and approved by us before it’s published. When it’s published we email it: in full to Pro members, and the first two paragraphs with a link to Pro to free accounts that agreed to it. New accounts agree by leaving the box at sign-up unticked; any account can turn it on or off in Settings. Pro members also get an email when the index’s momentum (its 13-week change) turns, and see the signal on the dashboard. Every one of these emails has a one-click unsubscribe link, and they come from hello@liquiditydashboard.net.

The weekly note, the momentum signal and the charts comparing liquidity with other markets are general commentary on public data. They describe what has happened, aren’t personal advice or a recommendation to buy or sell anything, and past relationships between liquidity and markets may not hold in future.

Apart from these and the getting-started emails above, the only emails we send you are ones you need, such as a student verification code, the student-price reminder or the reminder before your free trial ends. We don’t send other marketing emails, and we don’t make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Who we share it with

  • Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the Site and its database, caching and logs, protects it from attacks, forwards email sent to our contact address, and sends us a notification email when a new account is created.
  • Stripe (including Link) processes payments, acts as merchant of record, handles tax, receipts and fraud prevention, and runs the customer billing portal. Stripe is responsible for the payment data it collects: see Stripe’s privacy policy.
  • Google serves the Site’s font (Inter) through Google Fonts. Your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads the font. Google (Gmail) also hosts our business inbox: when you create an account or start a free trial, we receive an automatic notification email with your email address and our list of account email addresses (and of free-trial sign-ups, with their trial dates and status).
  • Resend sends our account emails: your student verification code (to your university address), the student-price reminder, the free-trial reminder, the getting-started emails, the weekly note and momentum alerts. It receives the address and the content of each email, and keeps delivery records.
  • Cal.com runs our booking calendar. Its calendar only loads if you click “Book a call”. If you book, Cal.com collects your name, email and anything you write, and sends us the booking. See Cal.com’s privacy policy.
  • The webhook address you choose. If you set up a webhook, alert data is sent to that address. You’re responsible for where that address sends it.
  • Others when needed: professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement or courts where the law requires, and a buyer if the Site is ever sold. A buyer would have to keep treating your data as this policy says.

We never sell your personal data. Our data sources (such as FRED or Yahoo Finance) don’t receive your personal data, because our server fetches the data, not your browser.

International transfers

Cloudflare, Stripe, Google, Resend and Cal.com may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. When they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations, including the UK–US data bridge for certified companies, or by approved safeguards such as the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum in their data processing terms.

How long we keep it

  • Account details and workspace content: while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete these within 30 days.
  • Sessions: until they expire (30 days) or you log out.
  • Student verification: a pending code is replaced by the next one and deleted when you verify. Your verified university address stays on your account while it’s open, so it can’t be used for a second account, and is deleted with your account.
  • Free trial card hash: up to 3 years after your trial started, so the same card can’t get another trial. If you delete your account, we keep only the hash, without the link to your account.
  • Payment and invoice records: Stripe keeps these as the law requires. If you delete your account, we remove the link between your account and those records, unless we need it for a refund, dispute or legal claim.
  • Request logs: up to 7 days.
  • Usage events: 400 days (about 13 months), then deleted automatically.
  • Emails with us: up to 2 years after the conversation ends.

Security

The Site is served only over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed with PBKDF2 using a unique salt, session tokens are long random values, and payment details are handled by Stripe, which is certified to PCI DSS. No system is completely secure. If a breach puts your data at risk, we’ll tell you, and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), where the law requires it.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email contact@liquiditydashboard.net from the address on your account. We’ll reply within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk (helpline 0303 123 1113). If you live in the EU, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The Site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect children’s data. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we’ll delete them.

Cookies & local storage

We don’t set cookies on liquiditydashboard.net, and we don’t use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking. The usage events we count (see the Privacy Policy) don’t store anything on your device. Instead, the dashboard saves a few small items in your browser’s local storage. They stay on your device and aren’t used to track you:

These are needed for the features you use, so under UK law (PECR) they don’t need your consent. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes them and signs you out.

When you go to Stripe Checkout or the Stripe billing portal, you leave our Site, and Stripe and Link set their own cookies for payments and fraud prevention. See Stripe’s cookie policy.

If you open the “Book a call” calendar, it loads from Cal.com, which may set its own cookies to run the booking form.

If you own data shown on the Site and have a concern, please contact us and we’ll respond promptly.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and policies, for example when we add features or when the law changes. The “last updated” date at the top will change when we do. For significant changes, we’ll ask signed-in users to accept the new version on their next visit, and we’ll email Pro subscribers about changes that affect their subscription. If you don’t agree with a change, you can stop using the Site and cancel Pro before the change takes effect.

Contact & complaints

For questions, privacy requests, refund requests or complaints, email contact@liquiditydashboard.net. We aim to reply within a few working days, and within one month for privacy requests. For a question about a specific payment or receipt, you can also use the Link support contact shown on your receipt email.
